Default Acrylic working

As some of you know, im designing and building a custom case for my Dual opteron system.

Anyhew, ive got some cash together and im buying some tools and components to get the job done, but i need some advice.

I need to tap some holes for some standard metric computer screws (M3) in an acrylic sheet that i will be using as a motherboard tray, but i dont know what size drills and taps i need to use to get the best result. I know that i need to use a bottoming tap for the tray as i dont want the holes for the standoffs to go all the way through the tray. What size and type of drill would be best for drilling the hole, and what type of tap(s) should i use?

Motherboard tray

Close up of hole (not tapped in the picture as im trying to keep the poly count down)

Im buying most of my fixings and drills from here.
